Her dream was to open a restaurant where customers could enjoy authentic Thai food without leaving Singapore. After 2 years at the kiosk. Wanpen and Robin. her husband opened their first restaurant on Sago Street.
Wanpen's goal is to brings our family kitchen to your table. Her heartfelt passion is reflected in every dish she creates. Each dish is made from scratch with fresh poultry and seafood purchased locally from the nearest wet market and herbs imported from places in Thailand and Indonesia.
“Sawasdee” means “Hello” or“Welcome”.

Born in North Thailand. Wanpen then migrated to Singapore in the 1980s with her husband.
She opened her first kiosk in Chinatown Hawker Centre. Her home—style cooking quickly became popular among the regulars.
